A cottage is remembered by its smell as much as its look: woodsmoke from the burner, rain on old flint, a room that still holds yesterday’s warmth. In our cottages we like the evening to arrive slowly, with a match struck, a wick lit and something soft in the air. These are the small things we reach for to make a house feel lived in and loved, and we hope they find a home in yours.
